นอกเหนือจากโรงงานที่มีเทคโนโลยีการผลิตที่ทันสมัยและได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานระดับสากลแล้ว น้ำตาลเคไอ ยังตระหนักในการเป็นองค์กรที่มีส่วนรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม โดยการมีส่วนร่วมส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการพัฒนาชุมชนรอบโรงงานและในระดับจังหวัด
     ปัจจุบัน น้ำตาลเคไอ สามารถสร้างงานให้กับแรงงานท้องถิ่น มากกว่า 3,000 คน เกษตรกรผู้ปลูกอ้อยและผู้เกี่ยวข้องอีกกว่า 2 แสนครอบครัวในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ก่อให้เกิดการจ้างงานและรายได้มหาศาลสู่ชุมชน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในฤดูการผลิต
     พร้อมกันนี้ ทางกลุ่มได้สนับสนุนกิจกรรมทางสังคมในการส่งเสริมให้การศึกษาแก่เด็กควบคู่กับการพัฒนาชุมชน โดยได้จัดตั้งชมรมหนองระเวียงอาสาพัฒนา เพื่อเป็นศูนย์กลาง ในการให้ความช่วยเหลือ และให้ความรู้แก่ประชาชนในชุมชนใกล้เคียงโรงงาน อีกทั้งยังมอบทุนการศึกษา สำหรับเด็กนักเรียนที่ขาดโอกาสทางการศึกษา ให้แก่โรงเรียนต่างๆรอบโรงงาน
     นอกจากนั้นบริษัทยังได้ทำกิจกรรมอื่นๆ เพื่อสร้างสรรค์ประโยชน์ต่อสังคม และชุมชน ในจังหวัดนครราชสีมา และจังหวัดสุรินทร์ อาทิเช่น

ร่วมพัฒนาระบบการศึกษา ด้วยการสมทบทุนก่อสร้างห้องสมุดเสถียรถิระกุล ขึ้นที่โรงเรียนวัดหนองขาม ต.หนองระเวียง อ.พิมาย
    จ.นครราชสีมา เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ค้นคว้าหา ความรู้เพิ่มเติมให้เกิดประโยชน์ทางการศึกษา
 ร่วมสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของทางสังคม ผ่านการบริจาคเงินสนับสนุนงานกาชาด ละงานประเพณีของท้องถิ่นประจำปีใน    จังหวัดนครราชสีมา     และจังหวัดสุรินทร์มาโดยตลอด
มอบกากหม้อกรองโคลน (Filter Cakes) ให้แก่เกษตรกรมารับเพื่อนำไปใส่บำรุงไร่อ้อย เพื่อให้ได้ผลผลิตสูง
ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการลดมลภาวะโลกร้อน โดยการปลูกป่าเฉลิมพระเกียรติ ทั้งภายในและภายนอกโรงงาน
มอบโมลาสแก่หน่วยงานราชการ ประชาชน ในการนำไปทำปุ๋ยชีวภาพ
ส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาต่างๆ ประจำตำบล อำเภอ จังหวัด
ร่วมสนับสนุนการบริจาคเงินสร้างกุศล ในการทอดผ้าป่า กฐิน
บริจาคสิ่งของ อุปกรณ์ให้หน่วยงานราชการเพื่อนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ อาทิเช่น แอร์ และคอมพิวเตอร์

Social Care
Asides from the advanced technology in the production process and international standard recognition, the KI Sugar realizes its social responsibilities by providing support to community and provincial development, especially communities around its plants.

Today, the KI Sugar has created employment for more than 3,000 locals and more than 200,000 families of cane farmers and related parties in Northeastern Thailand, thus bringing about tremendous employment opportunities and income to the local communities especially during the harvesting season.

The KI Sugar has supported social activities, child education and community development by setting up a Nong Rawiang Volunteers'Club to serve as a center to provide aids and knowledge to people around the sugar plants in addition to providing scholarships to poor and needy children in school around the sugar plants.

Furthermore, the KI Sugar has initiaed or supported the following activites for social and community benefits in Nakhon Ratchasima and Surin provinces:
Promoting eductation development by providing financial aids for the construction of the Sathienthirakul Library in Wat     Nong Kham School, Nong Rawiang Sub-district, Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province for students to use as a     learning center,
Participating in social activities by making donations to support activities of the Thai Red Cross Society and local     cultural fairs in Nakhon Ratchasima and Surin Provinces,
Giving away filter cakes to farmers to put in their cane plantation for better productivity,
Supporting the reduction of Global Warming through a reforesatation project in honor of his Majesty the King in 
     and outside its plants,
Giving away molasses to public organizations and the general public to produce bio fertilizers,
Supporting sports events at the sub-district, district and provincial levels,
Making donations for Buddhist temple renovations and other religious purposes,
Presenting useful equipment such as air-conditioners, computer, etc. to public organizations.
